NY to CA-7

Day 12 Wednesday 7/19/17

Bruce after the workout of removing
bottle cap from water bottle

He knows where I keep the dog treats and
knocks or paws the screen door to enter or
come out onto the deck.

Bellarmine College Preparatory High School. Founded in 1851,
it and Notre Dame High School
are the oldest secondary schools in the state.

Daily lacrosse practice for Aaron

A beautiful campus

Bruce always enjoys a walk with Mommy

Dinner time

Chuck Silvia Aaron
Thanks for the memories
A rare selfie
And, of course, there's my love of photographing food...
Mushroom filled ravioli, drizzled olive
oil and fresh grated Parmesan cheese.

Spinach salad with shredded carrots,
avocado, white corn with Balsamic dressings

Hummus with pita

Day 13 Thursday 7/20/17

A trip to Facebook for dinner

They certainly take care of their own

The ubiquitous blue bike. Take it from here
and leave it there along with its...

...accompanying helmet

Meeting Chuck in Building 16
Mural created by resident artists
After presenting photo ID, signing in
on tablet and receiving our ID

cards, our tour guide arrives

Snack? Help yourself

Need an electronic? Go to the vending machine, swipe
your badge and press F14 for a new keyboard.

Thirsty? Go to the HotFix bar and....

...choose from two 3-spigot dispensers
either 4 IPA beers or two varieties of wine.
Chuck's work area...

...and his desk.
Chuck, you win.
Hmmm. A question for all of us???

Jamie, one of Chuck's managers.

Jamie and her boss

Hubby, Aron, and his boss
Through the campus to Sol, the Mexican restaurant

The Sol Restaurant has a few locations including one in Palo Alto. As it was one of his favorites, Mark Zuckerberg had one constructed on the Facebook campus.
Andrea, Chuck, Aaron, Lucas, Silvia and Garo,
Chuck's New York manager here for a week of work.

Pollo Guajillo
This enjococado chicken dish is accented by guajillo sauce
and topped with toasted almonds. An authentic recipe
influenced by the 19th century old world and by our
cocina barroca poblana.
Then at home.....

A gift for Chuck that I've waited years to give.
Rich and smooth with hints of citrus and pepper
balanced  with creamy vanilla, peat, sweet wood
and nutty flavors. Johnnie Walker Blue
Label is produced in limited quantities ...

....was opened and enjoyed by THREE
generations of Rossi's.  A special event for sure.
Cheers.
