Some last day comments and other photos taken during my stay at nearby Black Bear Campground. Even with two days of heavy rains, the weather has been great; the free Internet service, terrific--a welcomed relief from Croton. Fall is definitely in the air and I can't wait to experience all it has to offer. I will be in Maine September 26 through Wednesday, September 30th and would like to squeeze in Lake George, VT, Ma, and CT before the snow flies. Perhaps in November.
My neighbor, Ms. Tuxedo in the Class A next door for a couple of nights.
Overhead advertising
Lots of cabins to rent
Terry & Catherine from North Carolina pulled in late in the day just for an overnighter. She's a retired teacher and travel about 4 months out of every year.
Their 2008 Winnebago View looked brand new but they've clocked over 80,000 miles so far.
Also met Cheryl Ann from the Pacific northwest but currently from Durango, CO. She's now on my Wall of Fame.
And so ends another adventure. The remaining 300+ pages of my 1,300 page novel should be completed while staying at Croton (Yes, it's still holding my attention. All the different sub-plots and characters can be seen coming together for what I'm expecting to be an exciting though unpredictable finale.) and I'm looking forward to those morning cups of coffee with old friend, Ray. Other friends, Vicki & George are on their way to Colorado in eager anticipation of seeing their 3 granddaughters. You can catch their adventure at:

Right now, it'll be an easy, relaxing pack up and go situation. Checkout time here is noon and check in time in Croton is after 1:00 pm. My Caddy will be picked up and off I go to stock up for my next stay. See you in Croton.
Safe Travels
