My location is between Merritt Island and Palm Bay. Rain day and night from Tuesday night till early Friday morning. |
With my first day of sunshine in over a week, I'm celebrating the event with an updated blog. My 5-hour drive from Hunting Island in South Carolina to the Nova Family Campground in Port Orange, FL was an overnight stop. The highlight for me, of course, was to catch up on the life and times of my good friends, Mya and Patsy, who used to live in my building. This included dinner at her dad's house and a late night dessert at Applebee's.

The next morning after breakfast at His & Hers Cafe and a plain cheese pizza to go from Luigi's on Clyde Morris (Mya's restaurant), I headed south about 60 miles to Space Coast RV Resort.
Space Coast RV Resort is packed. Wall to wall Class A coaches and Fifth Wheelers. Many sites have trailer homes and it looks like a lot of the RVs are long time residents and the resort, like Elite Resorts at Citrus Valley where I'll wind up in 4 days, offers sites for purchase. Owners are year round residents.

I can't believe you went back to Nova Campground. Try Daytona KOA, much nicer and only about 5 minutes away. We're counting down here at Elite....your space is empty and ready for "Winnie and You."
